We went for dinner and had to book. Only two staff on bar/restaurant service. They worked hard and efficiently to give everyone good service. We shared haggis bon bons to start, then had salmon teriyaki and espetada hanging kebab, followed by deserts. All good.

FOOD The food was great, the fish 'n' chips were AMAZING, the soup was great, the kids menu was good and the steak pie was Delicious!!! STAFF The staff were polite and smiley . ATMOSPHERE I like that there are 2 parts of the cafe: Bar and Restaurant. And even though we didn't book we got a place, the waitors told us it will be long wait as it is busy but it wasn't after all!! All the sings/ names of the dishes were in style and funny. CONCLUSION I would say it is a really great place with reasonable prices (the portions are big). TIP Please book because in the busy times there might be no spaces left.

All three of us had the special “hot shells”. Absolutely delicious and amazing value for money! Will definitely have to come back...just hope it’s on the specials again!

Had to sit outside , but fine as a warm evening - fully booked inside although a couple of free tables outside the restaurant. Get there early as the kitchen closes at 8. Could have done with a few more coveted tables outside, but Eyemouth seemed to shut down early.

We’ve just had a meal at The Ship and it was nothing short of fabulous! (2 adults and 3 children) Food was excellent, served very quickly, great quality and so reasonably priced. The staff were very helpful and polite and the restaurant is beautifully presented... make sure you take your phone with you to the toilet.... Total amazing photo opportunity! Won’t ruin the surprise!! Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a great reasonably priced meal! Certainly family friendly! Thank you so much! We will be returning!

Outstanding service, amount of food and exceptional quality too. If we lived nearer we would DEFINITELY return. Steak pie was perfect - the staff are hard working and friendly. The local RNLI was eating here too - if they eat here then that shows how brilliant it is.

Popped in when passing this Sunday afternoon. Short menu on an afternoon so went for half fish supper. It was absolutely delicious, just the right amount. I can't say I've had nicer. The staff were helpful and friendly and in a really modern setting. I will definitely be popping in next time I'm out that way.
